Callaway Hyper X Driver (Graphite) The innovative Callaway Hyper X Driver provides a new benchmark in performance with the introduction of Hyperbolic Face Technology, redefining the look, feel and speed at which golf balls leave the clubface.
Callaway's engineers set out to make a breakthrough in ball speed enhancement that would set a new standard in the all-titanium driver market.
The Hyper X Driver's Hyperbolic Face Technology does just that by generating higher ball speeds across the entire face.
Strategic hyperbolic shaping of the wall face thickness dramatically improves impact efficiency and produces the largest effective hitting area of any all-titanium driver Callaway Golf has ever made.
This generates higher ball speeds across the entire face for significant distance gains on off-centre hits, so youll get less disparity between the balls you hit in the centre of the clubface and the balls you don't.
Strategic internal weighting and 460cc size create a high moment of inertia (MOI) for increased forgiveness and stability on miss-hits.
The Short, Straight, Hollow, Hosel (S2H2) design increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the club head where it is more useful.
Fitted with Fujikura Fit-On X graphite shaft.

Been searching for a driver for months and didn't fancy needing a re mortgage to buy one.Opted for the X with 9 degree loft and stiff shaft.Hitting the ball consistently straighter and about 40 yds further than my previous callaway.best 100 quid I've spent since that night in rio!!!

Review:
I'm relatively new to the sport and unfortunately a late starter so I apologise if my ramblings aren't loaded with golf jargon but wow.................this club's awesome! Obviously being a new boy my swing, stance and just about everything else needs improvement but this driver makes me so much more confident and relaxed on the first tee. The club was suggested to me by a friend due to it being so 'forgiving' and thankfully he was dead right. I'm not driving massive distances yet but the contact feels good and the ball seems to go straight which fills me with the desire to get out and play more often. I used to be so nervous on the first tee but now I approach it with confidence...........not fear! It really IS a good club and strongly recommend it if you're new to the sport as I am. Also, it's a Callaway, which makes me feel like I'm a better player than I am!

Review:
I got the regular shaft 11 degree,as I tend to hit the ball on a low trajectory.I try to slow my swing down to keep it on the fairways,and find I get a reasonable distance around 220-260 yds.I have on occasion given it some welly and had a few drives over 300yds (316yds the longest). So I guess it's fair to say if you hit it well, it really goes,if you don't, it doesn't. Not the most forgiving club ever (It won't cure a slice,although can any club?),but a nice big face to give you confidence.One of the very low handicap salesmen at American golf, Watford showed me what it was capable of and boy did it fly.He hit fades, draws and monster straight drives telling me what he was going to do before each shot. I wish !!!!

Review:
Seven months into a return to golf after a 20 year lay-off while the kids grew up. Handicap now down to 18 and falling, but constant problems off the tee (BAD news on my course, lost or OB virtually every time!) Eventually left the drivers (yes, tried several) in the garage.
Read about the Hyper X on the Internet, happened to be near American Golf so I thought (without much hope) I'd give it and a couple of others a go. It felt rock solid to swing (10o stiff shaft,) but I left it, came back again, still felt good, came back the third time and bought it. WOW!! The guys I play with would rather I took it back: straight, forgiving, solid and LONG LONG LONG. One guy sorrowfully said, "I just creamed my drive and you're 75 yards past me."
It feels great, it plays wonderfully and I'm in love! They are on special offer at the moment, so if you're in the market for a new driver, I can only suggest that you try one these gorgeous cannons!!

excellent averaging about 10 yards further than ma old irons and very forgiving even if you hit it very of centre u will end up on green or there about recommend
